This was a difficult week. On top of Covid, the killing of George Floyd at the hands of the police (and another very upsetting incident in Central Park) put American racism and police brutality back in focus. We honor the "amazing grace" of people around the world fighting for justice, and fighting for their lives.
Combined with our anger and worry for our country, we also find ways to feel pride and love for some things American (and Italian!).
